Natalie, who weaves magic every time she enters the kitchen, recently introduced me to two amazing ingredients. They both add smoked awesomeness to any variety of dishes. The first one, South African Smoke, is a combination of paprika flakes, sea salt, garlic and basil. If you’d just like to get down to basics, however, the second one dispenses of everything but the smoke and the salt. Smoked Sea Salt!

They’re both mouth-wateringly delicious. I don’t think you can go wrong adding either one of these to your field kitchen or pantry. Find them both at Trader Joe’s.
