True, true. I'm also not fully convinced on LED's (although currently installed on the monty). On the plus side, I now carry a full set of replacement bulbs (the old, still good, incandescent bulbs)
Replacement LED's for 1156/1157 bulbs, definitely puts out less light and less spread. On the plus side it lasts longer, draws less power (good for older vehicles with aging electrical systems) and lights up instantly (the LED brake lights activate something like a 0.2 seconds faster than incandescent - I don't recall the math, but at 60 MPH, that's something like 17 feet of travel before fully lit).
My ultimate reason for switching to LED's was for the lower power draw. I started noticing electrical fluctuations when all accessories (hazard/turn lights, headlights, AC, sound system) were turned on. The switch to LED's addressed that, albeit a bit of a band-aid fix, and the other advantages of LED's were just self-sold selling points.

That looks like the center steer prototype rather than the production Series One. Where did you find the drawing? I believe a replica of the center steer was made some years ago and that drawing may well have been used to for that project. Nice drawing though :-)

I got the bumper from a place called 4x4Connection but they no longer sell it. I'm not sure why ARB USA no longer imports it. You may have to order the bumper from Australia. Here's a link for the Pajero / Montero LS bumper: http://www.arb.com.au/products/arb-protection-equipment/bull-bars/deluxe-bull-bars/3434020/

And here's a link for the bumper that accommodates the SR fender flares:
http://www.arb.com.au/products/arb-protection-equipment/bull-bars/deluxe-bull-bars/3434030/

You'll have to modify the frame of your Montero to make the bumper fit. Here's a post showing how (http://kirk.maclean.home.comcast.net/~kirk.maclean/arbbumper.html). That guy found his on ebay. That might be another route.

I got my Safari Snorkel from 4WheelParts. The model number you'll need for the Gen 2 is SS25HF. 4WheelParts shows the wrong snorkel on their page, in case you look it up. Rocky Road also has them. http://www.rocky-road.com/safarisnorkel.html

Good luck!
