Here’s a nice looking 1975 Pinzgauer 710M and trailer for sale on Craigslist. This is a soft-top version with a 2.7-liter engine built by Goatwerks. As far as I know the 2.7-liter was only ever offered on the 712 series (6×6) trucks, so this sounds like an aftermarket swap. The truck can reportedly run all day at 65mph due to the upgraded engine.

Other extra items include a Pertronix ignition, an auxiliary diesel heater, 24v air conditioning, a set of tire chains, and a trailer. The truck has also been Rhinolined, which is said to cut down on noise.

In the service department, the ad reports recent carburetor and valve adjustments, new shocks, and plenty of tread left on the BFG tires.

Overall this sounds like a nice, stock looking truck, with some solid upgrades. The ad includes plenty of extra information.

This Pinzgauer 710M is available in Reno, Nevada with a $16,000 asking price.
