This very nice looking, red, 1952 Willys CJ3A is currently being offered on Craigslist. It was reportedly treated to a frame-off restoration in 2004, at which time it received a new tub, wiring harness, and a professional respray.

It’s also said to have new tires and a working, PTO-driven, Ramsey winch, and separate capstan, at the rear end. Quite a unique feature, in my opinion.

The ad states that the odometer reads 21,500 and that the Jeep is located in Novato, California (about an hour north of San Francisco). This asking price is a not-unreasonable $14,000, though the owner states that he’s open to offers.

How cool would it be to explore the Sierras, open-air-style, in this thing?

More photos of this little Jeep after the jump.

In fact, the route was thought to be impassable. Read the rest of this entry »
