Defender Final Editions, via WCXC

Car and Driver reports that it’s the end of the line for the venerable Land Rover Defender, the 4×4 whose lineage goes all the way back to the very first Series Land Rovers designed at Coventry in 1947. The Series Land Rovers, and Defenders, as they were later renamed, are the vehicles that, along with the Jeep, ushered in the four-wheel-drive era as we know it. To honor the end of their production, Land Rover is sending them out in three special editions.

The special editions hew along three themes: the Adventure Edition (adventure), the Autobiography Edition (luxury), and the Heritage Edition (retro).

The downside? They won’t available in the United States.

Lots more photos after the jump.
