The Ford Bronco in this video is a remote control, 1/9th-scale model. It was hand built, out of wood, by Headquake RC Creations, which seems to be a guy working happily in his workshop in rural Ontario, Canada.

The level of detail is amazing—the miniature driver has foam arms and looks like he’s steering—and it’s fun to watch them roam their magically out-of-scale worlds. There are more videos after the jump.

Expedition Portal published a tribute to the Ford Bronco the other day with tons of old ads and images. Natalie and I both love the early Broncos. It was shaped like a brick but it was a great looking truck.

We spotted this stock 1966 Ford Bronco on the way home from a hike the other day. The Craigslist ad states that the truck wears new paint, has a new exhaust, a recently swapped engine (now a 302), a James Duff 3-speed transmission, and transfer case shifter upgrade.

The truck is located in Sonoma County with a $17,500 asking price. I took some photos. See them after the jump.
