Vincent Urban and his crew of friends have just finished another journey, this time through South America. Last winter I posted his first big video, a beautifully shot and edited Land Rover tour through Asia. This is one equally great. Go Vincent!

And thanks again for the tip, Greg!

The fifth and final episode in Vincent Urban and Clemens Krüger’s series, In Asia, is up on Vimeo. This one covers final leg through Thailand and Bangkok of the group’s Land Rover Defender trip in the Fall of 2010 plus some cut footage and clips of the lads themselves.

It’s very nicely done.

In mid-December I wrote about Vincent Urban and Clemens Krüger’s on-going Vimeo series, In Asia, the first three parts of which had already been posted. The series documents the sites seen by the two filmmakers and a friend as they traveled on a two-month journey in a Land Rover Defender through Southeast Asia in the Fall of 2010.

I’m happy to report that Part 4 has just been released. It covers mostly Cambodia. Clink on the link below the video for Vincent’s notes and descriptions.

Enjoy. They’re quite beautiful.

In Asia – Episode 1 – MALAYSIA from Vincent Urban on Vimeo.

My friend Greg just sent me a link to this outstanding travel video by Munich-based freelance filmmaker, Vincent Urban and Clemens Krüger. Part 1 of a five-part series, it shows three friends traveling through southeast Asia in a Land Rover Defender 110. There is hardly any narration, hardly any dialogue. Moments of the trip are just strung together like memories. It’s beautifully shot and edited and gets to the heart of why we all travel.

The first three in the series are already on Vimeo. See Part 2 here and Part 3 here.

Thanks for the tip, Greg!
